VINCI Facilities wins contract in Europe-wide tender process
VINCI Facilities emerged successful following a Europe-wide call for tenders launched by Harman Becker Automotive Systems for the countries of Romania, Hungary, Poland and Germany.
The client concentrated on the awarding of contracts in Germany and Poland, making it a condition that these two framework contracts would only be awarded to the same service provider. So, not only did VINCI Facilities have to impress its potential client with its prices and services, but the Polish colleagues, too, had to put in an attractively-priced bid.
“We’re extremely grateful to our Polish colleagues for the way they contributed to our success with their committed bid”, said regional director Michael Kneppel, “particularly as their share of the cake is much smaller”.
In total, technical and infrastructural building management services will be provided at six sites in Germany (Karlsbad, Böblingen, Ulm, Garching, Munich and Cologne), involving the cooperation of Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg and Rhein-Ruhr BUs.
The framework contract is for a period of three years with two optional years, starting on 1 January 2022. There’s a particular feature here: an individual contract has been drawn up for each site, containing a clearly defined list of services to be provided.
The contract covers:
- Technical management and maintenance,
- Inspections and expert testing,
- Repairs,
- Caretaker and winter services,
- Cleaning,
- Maintenance of green and surfaced areas and
- Security and reception services.
