VINCI Facilities to work for SNCF

In the summer of 2018, SNCF (French railways) issued a request for information and then two calls for tender covering multi-technical maintenance of its assets in France, divided into 14 works packages / 16 areas.

Over 7.2 million sq. metres of production zones, workshops, stations, technical premises and office space were covered. Supported by the Quadrim design office, SNCF invited 15 maintenance companies to bid on the exacting contract.

VINCI Facilities targeted six works packages / 10 areas appropriate to its activity and with strong works potential. Thanks to the involvement of local and cross-cutting teams (Greenaffair, VFEA, legal experts, etc.); invaluable feedback from several of them that had experience with SNCF; coordination of the project by the Business Development France Department; and the excellent customer environment, VINCI Facilities successfully completed the various rounds of negotiation!

Following eight supporting presentations, VINCI Facilities has, one year later, ultimately won a contract covering:

149 buildings (office & social) distributed across northern and eastern France

625 buildings (industrial & railway) in the Centre – Val de Loire region

VINCI Facilities’ precision and responsiveness tipped the balance and enabled it to win these two 100% “new business” contracts.
