Refurbishment of the Orange Tech building awarded to Exprom

Exprom Facilities won the contract to refurbish the Orange Tech building (5 storeys) in Casablanca, Morocco. The building houses the Groupe Orange Maroc (formerly Méditel) operations department.

Exprom Facilities is a longstanding Groupe Orange supplier in the Kingdom, having built a long-term working relationship on a large number of successful maintenance contracts and the acknowledged expertise of our teams.

For this project, instead of a call for tender, a limited RFQ was issued to three operators specialising in general contracting. Exprom Facilities won the contract based on its strong technical bid, excellent project references and attractive price.

The work involved a floor area of more than 4,000 sq. metres and two works packages:

◊ 1 technical works package :

  • Power supply, ELV, HVAC, plumbing and IT pre-wiring

◊ 1 architectural works package:

  • Flooring, wall coverings, false ceilings, partitions and painting.

The substantial project, with a value of 1m, was carried out by about 40 employees working full time between July and October 2019.
In addition, the teams continue to work on the project during the guarantee period and under the maintenance contract, which was concluded in parallel negotiations with the customer.

Jabir Sofiani, project manager during the works, explains that “This is a success for the entire Exprom Facilities team, which worked day and night to carry out the project. The Orange Tech building is an excellent project reference for our refurbishment expertise, and we are very proud of it.”
