Local Managers: serving VINCI Facilities Excellence

VINCI Facilities is undergoing a transformation; the solutions we offer are evolving and must be at the cutting edge when it comes to satisfying customer expectations in service, energy efficiency and digital. This new reality impacts the very substance of our profession.

 

To drive this transformation, the first link on the managerial chain is key. Our Contract Managers (CM), Technical Managers (TM) and Operations Managers (OpM) must closely follow the execution of our contracts in collaboration with our Business Managers, while managing their own teams out in the field.

 

The teams and the Business Managers also face another challenge, that of contributing to the transformation thanks to an improved undersanding of what clients expect and better monitoring of our services – including reports communicated in real time, transparency in execution , and enhanced reactivity.

 

In light of the above, all of our Regional Head Offices committed to creating professional communities, including the the organization of dedicated workdays. The goal: to better understand and exchange information on best practices, problems encountered and specific tools for our profession that improve how teams and contracts are managed.

 

Created in 2017, these communities have enabled us to identify actions to assist local managers. In 2018, they were created in each of our Regional Head Offices, in order to consider local specificities.

 

Some of our Regional Head Offices have therefore tackled more “managerial types of problems. QWL also got a lot of attention, especially thanks to specific training programs to “improve stress management due to client pressure”. Finally, other training programs dedicated to mastering specific industry tools have also been held or will be in the near future.

 

These tools improve how we monitor our services and simplify the tasks involved, whether it be Kizeo, team-planning solutions, our CMMS Mission or Power BI. In certain cases, and in light of feedback from local managers, in-house training programs have been upgraded for more efficiency.

 

This perfectly aligns with our VF Excellence program, which strives to make our organization and systems more agile when it comes to taking care of clients and our partners.
