Cayenne's hospital renews its trust in VINCI Facilities
This hospital complex in Cayenne (French Guiana) has renewed two of VINCI Facilities Guyane’s contracts, covering maintenance of its air-conditioning system and low-voltage circuits.
These new contracts have significantly larger scopes than the previous ones, set ambitious technical objectives, and include the use of work orders to shorten equipment replacement timeframes.
Cayenne’s hospital has enlisted VINCI Facilities Guyane’s services in its drive to lower its buildings’ energy consumption. Air conditioning accounts for the largest portion of total energy consumption in French Guiana, so the teams will need to install more efficient and less energy-intensive solutions.
VINCI Facilities Guyane has demonstrated its full range of capabilities for this customer in recent years, in particular as regards developing maintenance methods and digitalising procedures on the ground.
The new air-conditioning maintenance contract will run for 4 years and amount to €1.5 million a year, and the low-voltage contract for 3 years and €400,000 a year.
The hospital’s 4-year, €30 million investment plan could also generate considerable business volumes through work orders, as the investments in low-voltage circuits and air-conditioning systems have already been earmarked.
“We’re looking forward to several exciting years. We will need to keep on improving and innovating to maintain our close ties with Cayenne’s hospital and to continue to earn its trust.” Jeremy Rembert, head of VINCI Facilities Guyane.
