FRANCE: 100% Building Solutions deployment for Eurofins
For the past five years, VINCI Facilities Loire Océan has been supporting Eurofins, a world leader in bioanalysis on its historical site in Nantes (West France), through a multi-technology maintenance contract.
Throughout the ongoing health crisis, Eurofins has increasingly been using its resources to support the fight against the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.
In late summer 2020, in response to sustained demand for biological analysis, Eurofins decided to allocate 120 square metres of its Nantes site to a negative-pressure airtight laboratory dedicated to COVID-19.
VINCI Facilities Loire Océan took on the challenge, mobilising the skills needed to execute this all-trades project with the help of the Building Solutions network. Created in cooperation with Cegelec Nantes Tertiaire, Cegelec Clim Ouest and Uxello Travaux Pays de Loire, the new laboratory was built to extremely challenging deadlines.
“Having helped Eurofins to install modular laboratory spaces on their parking area in Nantes earlier in 2020, we are pleased to have met the challenge our customer set us in late September, with the help of our colleagues from the Building Solutions Engineering & Works network.” says Chinh An, Project Manager.
