Caisse des Dépôts renews its partnership with VINCI Facilities and entrusts the BMS batch to GETEO
The Caisse des Dépôts et Consignations is a French public sector institution created in 1816 to serve the public interest. It supports public policy and works for economic, social and sustainable development.
Thierry Orluc’s teams had been working on the contract since 2017 and were challenged once again when a new call for tender was initiated on 18 December, 2020.
The clock was ticking, with the response due by 18 January, 2021.
Three highlights marked the teams’ performance. The first was the hackathon they organised. Its aim was to create the main theme of the technical brief in a single day, incorporating digital, social responsibility and service (hotel approach), with support from expert professionals.
The second highlight involved costing as close as possible to operational realities. A detailed reading of the design brief made it possible to identify any gaps between the customer’s expectations and the performance we can deliver.
Lastly, finalisation of the brief with support from the French business development team was a major asset.
The Caisse des Dépôts wanted to set a virtuous example in social responsibility, and a CSR brief was therefore prepared for the customer. It details how environmental, social and human resources issues are incorporated into our maintenance solution.

…AND AWARDED THE BMS BATCH TO GETEO!
When the multi-technology contract for operating Caisse des Dépôts assets went out for tender, BMS (Building Management System) provision was placed into a completely separate second batch.
Drawing on their experience as a current subcontractor for VINCI Facilities Foncières Investisseurs Property, GETEO’s teams positioned themselves to win this contract.
GETEO is a VINCI Facilities ITEMS business specialised in Building Management Systems. This expert status, together with their site knowledge, enabled them to offer a specialised solution to reassure the customer.
Good relationships with customer contacts and the quality dialogue with teams from the multi-technology batch were instrumental to the response to this call for tender.
