TwinOps is nominated for the BIM d’Or Awards
The 8th BIM d’Or Awards will be held in Paris on 21 September. TwinOps has been nominated in the Pioneering or Original Approach category for its work on the ESEO & ESTP Campus in Dijon.
What does it involve?
Dijon aims to become France’s first smart city, incorporating the entire metropolitan area. In view of this, it offered to build the ESEO and ESTP engineering schools a bespoke smart building tailored to their students’ needs and connected to its OnDijon infrastructure.
Located at the heart of the university quarter, the 10,000 sq. metre campus in question has been awarded the three-star R2S label. It is the first building in France to achieve this level in the design phase.
Unconventionally, TwinOps was incorporated into the process from the design phase onward in order to define uses and needs for 20 years’ operation.
From a technical viewpoint, it is also one of the first buildings in France to be handed over BIM FM ready, complete with BIM, BOS and a Smart City component. Strong interoperability between the BIM and BOS will also make it possible to accelerate data feedback and improve equipment management for maintenance teams.
TwinOps and VayanData ensure data exchange between BIM and Smart Building, which sets the standard in sharing baseline data, live data and commands.
The best of luck to the TwinOps teams! See you on 21 September for the results!
