Double win for VF Building Services
Since 2013, VF Building Services has been providing facility management to the Société Générale data centre in Seclin (North of France). When this contract came up for renewal, the customer elected to add in three Crédit du Nord buildings in Lille. Making a total of 45,000 square metres to operate!
Société Générale needed a provider capable of effectively managing technical maintenance across all batches: HVAC, power supply, ELV, plumbing, finishing, roofing, etc.
The trust relationship built up with the client over the last eight years helped VF Building Services to secure this new contract.
As business unit manager Joachim Vital-Durand explains, “Over the last eight years, we’ve proved to Société Générale that we are a capable business partner in terms of technical expertise and in managing energy consumption. Our success with the Seclin data centre demonstrated our ability to provide high-quality services while accommodating the site’s unique features and timescales”.
The new contract has begun on 1 April 2021 and will run for three years. It involves five technicians and an energy specialist responsible for monitoring the energy performance contract (5% reduction in energy consumption from year two).
