A vertigo-inducing contract for VINCI Facilities
The D2 tower, the iconic skyscraper in La Défense, Paris, is known both for its technological innovations and its unusual architecture. The latter makes it complex to operate, which teams from VINCI Facilities PATRIMM’ have been doing for five years.
In 2020, a new call for tender was initiated. For Yvan Bellamy’s teams, the objective was clear: achieve contract renewal by being a powerhouse of proposed solutions.
In order to better target the customer’s expectations, a field satisfaction survey was carried out. This identified two issues: evolving the operational tools to adapt to the tower’s ageing, and consistency in the operations team, which is essential in the customer’s eyes. In collaboration with Greenaffair, the methods team proposed a sustainable action plan in line with the recent energy-saving legislation and Esset PM’s CSR strategy: energy consumption monitoring, a breakdown of energy usage, and an ambitious EPC aiming to reduce energy consumption by 18% over the next three years.
Furthermore, the graphics work for the bid memorandum by Graphic Designer Marine Jamot was much appreciated.
This hotly anticipated success for Yvan Bellamy’s teams seals a sustainable, high-quality partnership with Esset PM!
