New national contract for Eurofins Biomnis
France: In 2019, VINCI Facilities Recherche Industrie et lieux de Vie (VF RIV) signed an operation and maintenance contract for HVAC installations at the Eurofins Biomnis group’s headquarters in Lyon.
For the last year, Guillaume Challe’s business unit has ably supported the laboratory through the health crisis, implementing solutions in their workspaces to handle the spike in production.
VINCI Facilities Recherche Industrie et lieux de Vie (VF RIV) has proved its worth and created a genuine climate of trust with the customer, which now sees it as a preferred partner for buildings management and associated general services. The customer emphasised the high quality of these services over two years and has opened the door to total outsourcing of these general services.
A progressive approach that ultimately got results!
VINCI Facilities has won a new full facility management contract and retains all buildings and general service management on the sites in Lyon (10,700 square metres of offices and 350 employees) and Ivry (5,800 square metres and 320 employees). This comprehensive offer is based on the maintenance and operation of technical installations and equipment, and the direct or subcontracted provision of managed services.
This national contract will be fulfilled by two VINCI Facilities business units, with VF Process IDF, led by Christian Foureur, responsible for the Ivry offices. This is a great opportunity for this business unit, which drew on all the customer knowledge amassed by Guillaume Challe’s business unit (VF RIV) to facilitate the operation of this new national contract. Synergy is at work: this large-scale organisation is taking shape and requires new governance tailored to global customer demand.
To bring together the necessary expertise, Guillaume Challe and his team are currently identifying construction companies capable of supporting them on this contract.
A clear factor in their favour is that the customer chose VINCI Facilities for its ability to work with the Building Solutions network and tap into its wealth of construction and maintenance expertise.
This is also a great challenge for VINCI Facilities, which is embedding 10 Biomnis employees for general services management. It’s a win! Without exception, everyone has accepted this outsourcing and is extremely satisfied with the changes.
