What are currently the main issues in the realm of security?

 

Currently, most locations have introduced a security policy to address two major issues:

  • Anticipating risk by detecting threats as early as possible
  • Securing buildings to protect users and assets

Recent geopolitical disturbances plus a strong feeling of insecurity linked to attacks and crime are accentuating the importance of these issues, especially for sensitive sites like defence installations and critical infrastructure locations.

 

Not to mention data protection problems and mitigating the risks connected with cyberattacks.

 

Can you share your expert view: your impression of the security market and current opportunities?

 

It’s quite a mature market but there are still plenty of opportunities, driven by three main trends:

  • The overhaul of existing systems and equipment required for identification security technologies (biometrics, facial recognition, etc.) and computing solutions certified by the French National Cybersecurity Agency
  • The expansion of IoT and onboard AI (especially in cameras) creating a proliferation of service solutions
  • A need for convergence and centralisation of the different systems to make them easier to operate, especially multi-site systems.

 

What can the Security Club bring to the Building Solutions network?

 

Within the Club, there is a true network of business units from all over France specialising in security solutions.

 

They are available to help all Building Solutions business units to support their customers with comprehensive solutions to their security concerns: from risk analysis and defining a security strategy to designing, installing and commissioning the most appropriate solutions.

 

What need led to the creation of this comprehensive offer?

 

Our expertise and skills in the area of security are relatively little known either internally or externally. We suffer from a lack of recognition and visibility compared with specialist integrators like Securitas, Stanley or Eryma.

 

We created a security-based offer with the aim of remedying this lack of image, giving our business units a communication tool to demonstrate our ability to provide comprehensive solutions and serve national markets.

 

This comprehensive security solutions offer can be used and deployed by all Building Solutions business units, with ready-to-use media for any commercial presentation!

 

How strong is this comprehensive offer?

 

We are manufacturer-independent and self-sufficient in terms of implementing the solutions we provide, and can advise and support our customers anywhere in France at every stage of their security projects.
