Hi) The connected intercom

This innovation was devised in response to the finding that 15% of all package deliveries fail on the first try.

The outdoor Hi) intercom detects the presence of a person on the doorstep and sends a notification to the user’s smartphone. The user can then activate a remote camera, communicate with the person via an embedded loudspeaker, or activate the alarm.

The intercom has the following features:

  • 4G, WiFi, Bluetooth or 433 MHz communication
  • Motion detection
  • Remote alarm activation
  • Remote door opening
  • Self-protection via a built-in gyroscope (anti-vandalism, photo taken and sent automatically)
  • Ability to read QR-codes sent by the application (and displayed on a smartphone), with configuration of authorisations and time limits
  • Partnership with AXA for remote monitoring.
  • Ability to send instructions to the alarm panels: no ANSI certification, but encoded in the genes to support subsequent certification
  • Activity history
  • Upgradeable software: supports later addition of face or voice recognition

For Building Solutions, we have identified several uses:

  • At a customer warehouse or site under FM contract
  • On worksites: to approve deliveries and ensure worksite hut security

FENOTEK was founded three years ago, has 10 employees, announces 1,000 intercoms installed and aims for €1 million in 2019.
