VEF Tertiaire IDF at the heart of the new Judicial Police’s bastion

The famous 36 Quai des Orfèvres, headquarters of the Regional Department of the Judicial Police for over a century moved to the same number in rue du Bastion.

In fact, the various departments were beginning to be cramped in these historic offices in l’Ile de la Cité.

This move is part of a large real estate project of 130,000sqm and 3 billion euro which has been lead under the Fillon’s government: creating a new judicial city that would gather the new headquarters of the Judicial Police, the Law Court and the House of the Bar Council.

The new « 36 » is operate by CBC (the subsidiary of VINCI Construction) and the technical equipments by VINCI Energies. The business units of the pole operate the 3 buildings.

Here, no open space. The 900 work areas are partitioned. The building was delivered with all the furnitures. These constraints have made installation planning of the technical equipments more complex in the given deadlines.

This project is a nice example of synergies within the VINCI Group: the building with CBC, the subsidiary of VINCI Construction, the technical equipments with the works’ companies and the Maintenance with VINCI Facilities, these latest both belong to the VINCI Energies Building Solutions’ Business line.
