SWEDEN: Skanska chooses Eitech to be responsible for the electrical installations in two new office buildings in Malmö

Skanska has chosen Eitech to carry out the installations of electrical engineering in connection with the construction of OTOH, Castellum’s property in Nyhamnen where the tenant is E.ON’s new Nordic head office and the new office building Hyllie Terrass in Malmö. Two new properties that are shaped according to high sustainability requirements with a focus on energy efficiency, indoor climate and smart solutions for control, electricity, cooling, heating and water.

“With excitement, we look forward to contributing with our expertise and commitment to the construction of new landmarks for Malmö’s growing development area Nyhamnen and in the Hyllie district. The ambition is that both projects will technically be future good ambassadors for sustainable solutions with certifications according to the highest environmental certification level, for example BREEAM and WELL for E.ON’s new office”, says Jim Amaréus, Regional Manager for Eitech’s operations in Skåne.

Eitech is responsible for the design and installation of ducting, lighting, fire alarms, evacuation alarms and public telecommunications for an area of 36,000 square meters. Hyllie Terrass includes the electrical and telecommunications installations on an area of approximately 14,000 square meters spread over 12 floors.

“We are happy and grateful for the confidence that Skanska has once again shown us. The two new contracts are excellent proof of our strength to find good and effective technical solutions together in the early stages of the construction projects that create added value for end customers,” says Jonas Kihlberg, head of VINCI Energies Building Solutions business area.
