Renewing the lighting and light control at the Liechtenstein Museum of Fine Arts

The Liechtenstein Museum of Fine Arts is the state museum of modern and contemporary art in Vaduz. The modern museum building by Swiss architects Morger & Degelo and Christian Kerez was opened in 2000. The significant collection of international modern and contemporary art is also the national art collection of the Principality of Liechtenstein.

ETAVIS ELCOM AG, working in cooperation with ETAVIS Grossenbacher AG, was appointed by the Liechtenstein state to replace all the lighting, in total 1,100 lamp elements, and the light control system.

”We have converted the lighting from fluorescent lamps to LED. This allows us to save almost half of the energy costs per year. By replacing the lighting control system, we were able to achieve added value for the customer in terms of operation and visualization” reports Ashraf Masri, Managing Director of ETAVIS ELCOM AG.
