Portrait of Guillaume Rabut, An HVAC Engineer in the business of spreading innovation

Guillaume RABUT started his professional life at LEFORT FRANCHETEAU, a heavy-weight in the Air Conditioning industry, at the Group’s Ile de France Pole. After completing his engineer’s degree, he started specializing in dynamic thermal simulations at the Design Office . For example, he worked on the pilot project of running a continuous Very High Voltage circuit in the tunnels under the English Channel. He also took part in tests on a GreenFloor process patented by VINCI Energies, and for which a demonstrator has been built in collaboration with Lainé Delau in La Garenne-Colombes.

His early experiences were in project execution (PERI XV LEMNYS – Issy les Moulineaux and U-Arena 92) before accepting the responsibility of GreenFloor’s Business Development, at their Services IDF Pole. The process is patented, and has been tested every which way thanks to the demonstrator. But it still needs to convince real estate promoters and builders to adopt it. Guillaume is in charge of pilot project R&D, working in mutual understanding with the technical design offices discovering the process, and in convincing the decision makers.

In 2016, the first projects pitched are finally being signed, with the help of VINCI Energies HQ:

–                      The MERELEC site (VEF Tertiary North East & Fire Prevention): GreenFloor was adapted to function underneath the floor rather than the ceiling

–                      The VINCI Earthwork Construction site in Morangis (91)

–                      The Actemium site in Ensisheim (62)

–                      And finally, perhaps the new VINCI Energies HQ facility in Nanterre.

Guillaume is now in charge of business at ICE, one of the Ile de France Thermal Power Business Units, in charge of all GreenFloor projects.
