OCAPIAT: a solution from design to construction
DEGW, Qivy Tertiaire, Santerne Agilys, Omnidec and Valentin came together to create the new headquarters for OCAPIAT (French skills provider for agricultural cooperation, agriculture, fishing, the agri-food industry and the regions).
Created by amalgamating the skills providers FAFSEA, OPCALIM and the fisheries section (SPP PCM-CM) of AGEFOS-PME, OCAPIAT now has all its employees on a single site. The challenge of this project was therefore to implement a workspace design that encourages interaction and collaborative working, which are crucial to the success of the merger between the two organisations.
As contract holder, DEGW was responsible for design and installation studies, interior design and alterations. Qivy Tertiaire, working as general contractor on behalf of DEGW, provided overall management of the works, which involved several of our business units:
♦ Santerne Agilys for power supply, BMS, fire safety system installation, access control and charging stations for electric vehicles with IRVE (electric vehicle charging infrastructure) certification.
♦ Omnidec for installation of removable partitions and flush-fit 1-hour fired-rated glass partitions.
♦ Valentin for the HVAC and plumbing batch: with their comprehensive solution, our business units successfully completed the customer’s project, meeting all their expectations and deadlines.
This was a notable success given the current background of supply problems, and enabled OCAPIAT to hold its first board meeting in its new premises on the date planned.
