Launch of the Building Solutions services in the French West Indies and French Guiana

On 22 March of this year, VINCI Energies Martinique held a seminar bringing together the directors, business unit managers and project managers working in the building solutions sector in French Guiana, Guadeloupe and Martinique.

About 40 participants from works and operation business units gathered in Fort de France to put together the Building Solutions range of products and services in the French West Indies and French Guiana.

The seminar included:

  • A presentation of the expertise and innovations in the region
  • Working groups focused on better identifying, developing and marketing our expertise within a common range of products and services
  • Workshops presenting original solutions, with special attention to home automation, mobility software and energy efficiency

The seminar also offered an opportunity to present the new VINCI Energies Building Solutions Network, which brings together the engineering and works and the VINCI Facilities business units. Guest speaker Pierre Blanchet gave the presentation and also reviewed current range of energy retrofit solutions.

Jean-Philippe Boulboulis then led a very lively discussion with the help of a consultant. The participants, who had travelled long distances (the flight between French Guiana and Martinique, for example, takes more than two and a half hours), were clearly delighted to have the opportunity to meet with their colleagues.

And now for the rollout: we will need to assemble tools, set up a club to continue the discussions, put together selling points, draft a presentation and a brochure and of course ensure communication with customers and project managers!

This is a great initiative. The business unit managers and speakers put in a lot of hard work to prepare it. Hats off to Jean-Philippe Boulboulis, Martinique Director, and to Valérie Lebon, logistics and supplies manager in the French West Indies.
