EEP worked again with Crédit Agricole Brie Picardie
EEP (Entreprise d’Électricité de Picardie) has installed all the high- and low-voltage circuits in Crédit Agricole’s new premises in Chessy, east of Paris.
The 10,000 sq. metre building will house offices, a restaurant, an auditorium, training rooms and a 300-space underground car park with 40 charging stations for electric vehicles.
EEP had already worked for the bank in Picardie in 2018, when it opened several new branches and offices in Beauvais, north of Paris. The company’s solid references were what won it the deal with the developer, Legendre Immobilier.
The works carried out:
- High-voltage circuits (a 1,200 kVA substation)
- A Hager Agardio connected low-voltage distribution panel and an H3+ 2,000 A unit
- Two 100 kVA inverters
- A 400 kVA power generator
- Fire detection
- Access control and single-file airlocks
- Video-surveillance and anti-intrusion system
- A 4,500-point video, data and image system
- A 40-station, 22 kW dynamic charging system for electric vehicles
The project started in July 2018 and was completed at the end of September 2020. The contract is worth €4 million in total.
One of the distinctive features: The construction site was 200 km from the company’s base. So the project involved a fair amount of agility in the organisation, including on-site offices and storage systems, and containers with access-control systems to keep track of the use of supplies. The fact that the company has been supervising projects digitally for over 6 years – every aspect from design to construction and on to liaising with the account manager – simplified remote interaction and for instance enabled the crews to resume work swiftly during the lockdown.
