Construction of two data centers for Euro Information in Côte d’Or, northeastern France

The two data centers are being built simultaneously, 15 km apart.

On the two sites, each measuring 10,000 sq. metres, Santerne Tertiaire et Santé will be installing all power supply and extra-low voltage equipment, including high-voltage cells, cabling, bus ducts, machine room panels and PODs. Both sites will also be equipped with solar panels mounted on shade pergolas.

The objective is for both data centers to achieve Tier IV uptime certification, the highest level of certification in terms of data center securitisation. Tier IV installations can tolerate maintenance, one-off breakdowns and even serious incidents (fires, for example), by virtue of their design and the implementation of different backup devices. Uptime Tier IV guarantees 99.995% availability.

The Verlinghem site had already achieved this certification for the first time in France.
At peak times, 120 employees will operate on site, including personnel from local Cegelec and Actemium teams.

Works commence in April 2022, with handover expected in summer 2023.

Contract value: €27 million
