Stratosfair: the green data center
Stratosfair is a french startup that plans to establish a network of small, sustainable local data centers powered using local energy loops. Cegelec Angers Data Center is helping Stratosfair to create its first low-carbon data center.
This close technical collaboration will continue long-term with the construction of future sites in Angers, Vannes, Saint-Malo, Nantes and Arras (West/North of France) among others. It also offers prospects for developing commercial partnerships and expanding technical collaborations.

Origin of the partnership with the pole VINCI Energies France Tertiaire Grand Ouest:
2020 onward: bespoke assistance and technical support for Cegelec Angers Data Center, cemented with three feasibility studies on three different sites and 600 hours of technical studies.
13/09/2021: contract signed to build the first pilot site in Lorient (€420,000 order).
24/02/22: first stone laid at the Lorient site.
