Bosman for building EDGE Eindhoven

EDGE Eindhoven will be EDGE’s newest development in Eindhoven, a city known for its high-tech environment. EDGE Eindhoven is a combination of office, housing and shared spaces. By creating a natural walking route through the building, it will be open for the public and create a vibrant community that can make use of our café, restaurant and concept space. The atrium brings a lot of natural light to the floors, which can be interconnected by staircases.

Bosman has been awarded the project for the building-related installations of the four towers of almost 40,000 square metres in total. Three of these towers will be offices of 25,000 square metres. The fourth will be a residential tower of 14,500 square metres with 175 appartments.

The latest smart building technology from partner Signify will be used and the aim is to obtain a building with a WELL Core & Shell Gold certificate for wellbeing and a high sustainability rating with an intended BREEAM Excellent certificate. The roof will be fully landscaped, allowing for irrigation from rainwater, thus saving money by storing it underground. PV panels will be installed to increase the energy efficiency of the building and allow energy savings of at least 30%. Extremely sustainable, in other words. This contributes to the ambition to obtain a BREEAM Excellent certificate.

The aim is to ensure that 25% of the materials used in construction are circular, recycled or recyclable.

The works will start in Q4 2021 and will end in Q1 2023.
