Cegelec Maine et Loire Tertiaire wins the contract for a new high-tech factory making use of 5G in an industrial context
The Lacroix Electronics factory, located in the West of France, has entrusted the power supply and ELV work for its new construction site to Damien Body’s teams (Cegelec Maine et Loire BU manager).
This high-profile project is a major one: the construction of a 20,000 square-meters building in 15 months (nine months for the electrical systems batch), including 4,300 square-meters of offices, and 15,700 square-meters of production workshops and storage.
The order is worth €2.12 million, with up to 15 people working to complete the power supply/ELV for this factory 4.0, the fruit of a collaboration between the customer, prime contractor and project manager.
The Cegelec Maine et Loire teams will be installing “Green Solution” high-voltage cells and LV/HV transformers containing 44 temperature and environment sensors, and a control system capable of measuring, analysing and monitoring 200 pieces of equipment, with lighting management using Philips/Signify Interact technology to control more than 1,700 connected appliances.
The completion deadline will be one of the key challenges on this project.
