Uxello Tertiaire takes charge of the fire safety sprinkler system for the future Laboratoires Servier research institute
Designed by the architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte, this centre is part of the science and technology cluster project under construction on the Plateau de Saclay, in the southwest of Paris (FRANCE). Eventually, 1,500 Servier researchers will be brought together at this center of excellence, which in a few years’ time will bring together nearly 25% of French scientific research.
Built by BATEG (VINCI Construction France), in synergy with VINCI Energies (under a project management with the following companies: Cegelec Tertiaire IDF Fluides, IC Entreprises, Phibor Opale, SDEL IMTEC and Uxello Tertiaire IDF), this 46,000 square-meters building will comprise a central hub linking three buildings containing laboratories, space for socialising and a business centre. It will also include four parking levels, an animal unit, auditorium and landscaped garden. The project will meet the requirements of the HQE 2015 Exceptional and WELL Gold Level certifications. Delivery is expected in the first half of 2022.
At the core of this exceptional project, Uxello Tertiaire IDF is installing the fire safety system, with 21 control stations and 9,375 sprinkler heads. The work is being managed on a subcontracting basis by Cegelec Tertiaire IDF Fluides and I.C.E.
Value for Uxello: €2.8 million
